presentation of the Richard Dorman Award in September, 2004. The photos show:

The ceremony took place successfully. The
BFOV was represented by Ian Irving and Charles Pierce. Eric Natuoivi,
Deputy Principal, was MC. Charles Pierce gave some historical background
to the Richard Dorman Award, and Ian handed the cheques over to the two
recipients - Joe and Diane.
The ceremony was witnessed by students and
staff of the primary anglophone section of the Vanuatu Institute of
Teacher Education. Charles Pierce reports that Joe and Diane were extremely grateful, and their
speeches were very touching. Everyone was most appreciative of Richard
Dorman and the British Friends of Vanuatu
